Colorful Palm Springs Wedding at Bougainvillea Estate

Palm Springs?! We’re there.

I will always love Palm Springs. It’s the place where a lot of my favorite childhood memories happened and it’s the place I return to now to relax, decompress, and dress in very flamboyant leisure wear (you know those desert ladies dressed in white linen outfits, lots of silver and turquoise, and extravagant cowboy hats? That’s like half of the women in my family). Pretty much all of my favorite things. When Jess asked us to meet her in Palm Springs for her wedding day with a truck full of flowers I obviously did a little (big and dramatic) happy dance. Jess was a destination bride from New Jersey so we never met before the wedding but we went over a lot of details to make sure everything ran smoothly and we were on the same page design-wise. She wanted color, texture, and abundance (3 more of my favorite things).

Her venue was BREATHTAKING. Have you seen The Bougainvillea Estate? You need to. Seriously. Okay, now that you’ve seen it you get what I’m saying. Palm Springs dream, right?

We brought in such fun early spring flowers and blooming branches to get that vibrant look Jess envisioned. We used our modern copper arch with growing florals set on the grand lawn with the house framed in the background (in front of a lake, NBD).

Around the pool in the courtyard we decked out the long guest tables with a mix of budvase gatherings and centerpiece trios with lots of candlelight and copper accents.

By the end of the night, guests, family, and the bridal party were all in the pool fully dressed and having the desert-dream-oasis time of their lives!

All I can say is …. MORE PALM SPRINGS WEDDINGS PLEASE!!
